If you are looking to make a difference this Mother’s Day than why not consider the 2008 Y-ME National Breast Cancer Foundation breast cancer walk.  Join survivors and breast cancer advocates on a walk that  is aiming to raise nearly $9 million dollars to fund programs that aim at helping people with breast cancer.

Try signing up as a team, join a group with your office, family or friends and walk together.  You can even have captains and co-captains to keep your team together and boost morale.  What better way to celebrate Mother’s Day than by walking to help breast cancer victims and survivors. 

There are also some real advantages to joining a team.  You’ll get a reserved spot in the ‘Team Village.’  This will give your group a place to relax together and get together before the walk.  Your team will also get a Web page where you can put down information about your team and highlights of your walk together. 

The captain of your team will also be invited to the awards reception in July.  This reception recognizes the top teams that walked in the event.
