Will Girls Become More Educated About Breast Cancer In School

There is many campaigns that work towards breast cancer awareness, after all the more woman that know what they need to be aware of and what to watch for the more likely that diagnosis will come early and early detection is much more likely to return a clean bill of health.

But what if we could reach out to girls in school? What if we could educate them about the dangers of breast cancer and what they need to know to protect themselves.

Is school the place to teach girls? Some say yes, some say no. Some worry it could become as controversial as the HPV vaccination. What is for sure is that it seems that Obama’s marriage to Biden could actually result in an increased of awareness about breast cancer in school age girls.

It’s not so much what Senator Biden has done but rather what his wife has accomplished. According to the Fitness Blog Mrs. Biden ahs been involved in education all her life and back in 193 she stared an early detection program in hopes of reducing the alarming breast cancer mortality rates. She’s certainly likely to have an impact on both awareness and the fostering of healthier lifestyles.

And while we certainly don’t want to put breast cancer in the political arena, most of us would agree that awareness and education that comes from any party is welcomed.

And while the HPV vaccination remains controversial it’s highly unlikely that educating our children about breast cancer and providing them with tools is going be controversial.
