Are You Inspired to Save a Life?
Who hasn’t been touched by breast cancer? I know I have and you probably have too. If you haven’t, I can bet you know someone who was. The only way that we can stop this horrible affliction is by research, education, and awareness which all cost vast amounts of money.
On the front page of the Susan G. Komen website you will find a tab for donations. If you want to be involved in the fight against breast cancer, but are not sure how, this is it. There is no better way to help than to donate money so that research, education, and awareness can be continued. The wonderful thing about making a donation at the Susan G. Komen website is that they are extremely careful about the allocation of funds (see pie chart). Of all money donated, a scant seven percent goes to administration fees and according to the website, 87 percent of all money donated goes directly towards their mission.
Donations can be made in a variety of ways including both online and by texting. You can read more about all the different ways to donate by visiting the Susan G. Komen website directly.
At ThinkPinker.com we urge to get as involved as you can in the quest for finding a cure for breast cancer. Just remember, hope comes with a price and it is our responsibility to make sure that that price is met. As stated on the font page of the webite and the title of this post, “Are you inspired to save a life?”
