You too can be “Passionately Pink”
As you probably already know, people wear pink to raise awareness for breast cancer. Well did you know that just by wearing pink, you can help find a cure for breast cancer? Here’s how.
There is another wonderful program of Susan G. Komen for a Cure called Passionately Pink for the Cure where individuals like you and I can get involved and plan a charaty event to help fight breast cancer. Events can range from softball games to car washes, but the one common thread with all events is that everyone on your team wears pink.
Here’s how the the program works:
- Make a goal of how much money you want to raise.
- Choose your day.
- Recruit your team.
- Wear LOTS of pink.
- Send in donations.
The information page has step by step instructions on how to get started and even offers ideas if you are stumped. You can also choose to find a team in your area that is already planning an event, or donate on the spot. So what are you waiting for? There are no more excuses for you not to get involved in raising valuable resources for the fight against breast cancer.
ThinkPinker.com is always urging everyone to do their part and I am happy to be able to bring you more information on a program like Passionately Pink for the Cure, which makes being involved a snap. Continue to think and feel hope and know together we will all one day beat breast cancer.
