Mike’s Hard “Pink” Lemonade to Benifit Canadian Breast Cancer Network
While doing my shopping for my 4th of July party I happened upon a display that caught my eye immediately. The display was for Mike’s Hard Pink lemonade. Now I’ve heard of Mike’s Hard Lemonade, which is an adult beverage, but I was unaware that they made a pink version, but I digress.
Low and behold right there on the label was the familiar symbol for breast cancer awareness; the pink ribbon. As soon as I got home, I began to do some research on what I saw, and this is what I found.
When you buy Mike’s Hard Pink Lemonade 25 percent of the profit goes directly to the Canadian Breast Caner Network, which as organization that is run by those who are breast cancer survivors. Their goal is to do in Canada, much the same as organizations such as the Susan G. Komen for a Cure Foundation do here in the United States; spread breast cancer awareness and find a breast cancer cure. As of this writing, Mike’s Hard Pink Lemonade has already raised about $71,000 in donations…WOW!
So the next time you are at the store and want to get a cool frosty adult beverage for yourself, think about anyone you know who has been touched by breast cancer and then go seek out a pack of Mike’s Hard Pink Lemonade and know that part of the money you spend will go towards helping find and end to breast cancer. Just help (drink) responsibly.
Hope is everywhere, even at your local grocery store on display for all to see. Keep up the good work Mike’s!

This stuff is delicious, now… isn’t it just a bit ironic that it also causes breast cancer? Still, I’m funding my own future treatments :).
