Komen affiliate planning a breast cancer symposium
The Chattanooga, Tennessee Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure has announced it will host a breast cancer symposium called, ‘We are in this Together” on Saturday September 12th at the Brainerd Crossroads. The symposium was planned to spread breast cancer awareness as well as breast cancer information to all.
The event will be open to the public and will feature many different medical and inspirational speakers all designed to educate and encourage breast cancer survivors and their supporters. Topics will range from nutrition to exercise and even how to face your sexuality after breast cancer. There will also be several workshops for all to participate in as well.
The cost for the event is only $10 and that includes a box lunch. Tickets must be purchased in advance so don’t delay in getting yours.
There are also a very limited number of vendor booths that can be rented for the event. The group attending will be large and targeted and it is a wonderful opportunity for local businesses to showcase their merchandise.
