NASCAR star Elliot Sadler teams with Komen yet again

Elliot Sadler is no stranger to breast cancer. His mother is a proud and strong breast cancer survivor and for the second year in a row, Sadler and his sponsor Stanley Tools will team up with Susan G. Komen for the Cure to raise breat cancer awareness and funds as well.
On October 17th for this year Sadler will once again pilot a Pink Dodge in the race and help to raise money to fight the dreaded disease. Last year, Stanley and Sadler raised over $100,000 for Susan G. Komen for the Cure and this year they hope to do even more.
Along with the pink race car, the event will honor a ‘Lady in Pnik’ who will come from a list of finalists that all had a loved on or friend write a 500 word essay on their breast cancer story. The Lady in Pink will be chosen by a fan vote and there are many festivities planned for that particular race day.
Its great to see a high profile person like Sadler take his personal past and parlay that into a possible better future for all. We here at ThinkPinker.com will be rooting for the Pink Stanley Tools Dodge come this October 17th and hope to see it and Sadler in Victory Lane.
