Housework fights off breast cancer
This is sort of a follow up to one of my previous posts. We now know that an increase in your daily exercise routine can help to keep breast cancer away, but now researchers have come out and said that a daily dose of vigorous housework can actually be counted as that exercise. This sort of sounds like a guy came up with the research findings.
All kidding aside, the new research should be welcomed news for all of us that are compulsive neat freaks and it is good to know that when life is too busy to dictate a trip to the gym, that getting the house in order will effectively do the same thing.
The study goes on to say that light intensity activity such as bowling, fishing, and table tennis do not make the cut when it comes to exercise that will effectively keep breast cancer at bay. They are also discounting light housework too like dusting and light clean-up. So to take advantage of the new findings, grab your mop, broom, and other cleaning supplies that will help you to get your heart rate up and have you breaking a sweat.
Thinkpinker.com urges all women to get tidy for their home’s sake and their health’s sake.
