Vivid Tattoos is located in West Knoxville and is owned by Sarah Hurst. One day while surfing the Internet, she had an inspiring idea.

For the entire month of October, which is of course National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the tattoo shop gave out PINK ribbon tattoos for free in order to raise more breast cancer awareness. The hope was that at least 50 would be completed by the end of the month but there was of course room for more.

Some that got the tattoos got them to honor those that they lost and still others were breast cancer survivors themselves. ThinkPinker.com hopes that these tattoos will serve as a constant reminder to all about how this disease touches us all.

If you live in the area and you missed your opportunity don’t worry, Vivid Tattoos says that they will offer the free tattoos again next year. What a great way to permanently tell the world that you support those affected by this horrible disease.

It just goes to show that even those from different walks of life can come together and do their parts to help out and put an end to breast cancer so that we can all live in a world where a breast cancer cure exists. Thanks Vivid Tattoos; keep up the great work!
