NBA Jazz and Raptors join fight against breast cancer
If you follow my ThinkPinker.com posts, and I hope you do, you have seen how recently the NFL teams have been banding together to wear all kinds of pink stuff in order to raise breast cancer awareness and funds to aid breast cancer research. Well not to be outdone, the Utah Jazz and the Toronto Raptors will do much the same in tomorrow’s NBA match-up.
The basketball game that will be held in Utah at the EnergySolutions Arena and will see $5.00 of every ticket sold get donated to a variety of worthwhile charities. The charities of choice include Swing for Life, The American Cancer Society, and Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
According to the NBA, there are more teams that are expected to follow suit. Once again ThinkPinker.com is grateful that some of the toughest guys in sports will adorn the pink color all in an effort to one day eradicate breast cancer.
If you live in the Utah area and are a fan of the Jazz I hope you will go to Wednesday’s game. If not you can always go directly to one of the worthwhile charities mentioned and make a contribution directly. Only by working together will we one day have what we all strive for; a breast cancer cure.
