Pierce Brosnan pays tribute to breast cancer survivor - hero
CNN will be showing its CNN Heroes Tribute as it does every year this Thanksgiving and this time around Pierce Brosnan pays a special tribute to a breast cancer survivor and now inspirational hero Andrea Ivory.
Ivory runs a mobile mammography project in Miami and was certainly awe struck when taking pictures with Brosnan. Brosnan though made sure that Ivory was the one who was getting all of the attention.
This was a special tribute for Brosnan as he lost his first wife to cancer in 1991. Though he has since remarried and has two children with his current wife, his first wife was the mother of his oldest son and will more than likely always hold a special place in his heart.
What a wonerderful tribute and a great Thanksgiving day gift. ThinkPinker.com loves to see high profile starts get out and help raise breast cancer awareness especially when it is done in such a graceful manner.
Remember the more that people know about this dreaded disease the better. Only by raising as much awareness as possible and getting as many involved in the fight as possible will we one day be able to live in a world where a breast cancer cure exists.
