Cleveland Cavaliers go PINK for a game

pink-21The NBA is continuing its quest to raise breast cancer awareness with its program dubbed ‘Box Out Breast Cancer.’ This time it was the Cleveland Cavaliers who wore PINK in their warmup before their game against the Chicago Bulls last night.

Many of the fans, coaches, and opposing players also wore pink to show their support and the initiative went off wonderfully. The half time show included the forming of a pink ribbon by staff members who have been affected by breast cancer. What a great display from some of the tallest men you will ever see.

ThinkPinker.com is so excited to see almost every major sport getting involved in the fight against breast cancer. As more teams participate, I will be sure to report on them.

For those of you that did go to the game last night to wear pink in support we all say thank you. If you missed last night’s game don’t worry. You can wear pink any time you want to show you care.

Until there is a breast cancer cure we must all pull together and support and honor both breast cancer patients as well as breast cancer survivors. Never be ashamed to wear your pink - after all, the NBA players aren’t.
