Tanger Outlet donates over $28,000…MORE
For a little more than a month back in September/October, Tanger raised funds for breast cancer research with its annual Breast Cancer Awareness campaign. Through the program, shoppers that donated one dollar received a special PINK card which entitled them to a special 25 percent savings bonus at participating Tanger stores.
The program is in its fourth year now and Tanger says it will be up for yet another program come 2010. This year it was recently announced by Tanger that $28,311 in funds where raised. That brings the total money raise nationally by Tanger to $7.5 million since 1994. All the funds raised by Tanger stores are donated to more than 20 different breast cancer organizations through the Stanley K. Tanger Breast Cancer Fund.
This is just another great example of large corporations doing all they can to be sure that we one day live in a world where a breast cancer cure exsists.
