I’m dreaming of a PINK Christmas
Well it is that day again. The day in which we all get together to open presents and spread holiday cheer. Yes it is Christmas and with this year brings a re-newed hope that we will one day find a breast cancer cure.
But this year also brings challenges. With the new recommendations from a special task force that is telling women to not conduct self breast exams and not to get mammograms until they are 50, the pressure is on now more than ever to stay informed and spread as much breast cancer awareness as possible.
Christmas is also a reminder. We must all take the time to remember those affected by breast cancer and be sure that we are there for them in every capacity with plenty of love and support. We should also take the time out to remember those who fought so bravely but lost their personal battle with breast cancer in the end. Please remember that as individuals we may all stand strong, but when we stand united, nothing can stop us - not even breast cancer.
ThinkPinker.com wants to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and we look forward to reporting on everything breast cancer related for you in the New Year and beyond. Please stay strong and NEVER give up hope!
