Duo bikes cross country for breast cancer awareness
Two men have decided to take some time off and help to raise breast cancer awareness and funds to aid breast cancer research by taking their bicycles across the country. Yes, literally from coast to coast.
The dynamic duo includes Paul Dorr and 18-year old Clint Valentine. The two started off in the New England area way back in October of 2009 and their journey continues. The end point for the two will be in San Diego California and as far as they are concerned they are doing nothing more than raising some funds and awareness for the dreaded disease.
The two have thus far raised over $3,000.00 but want to raise a total of $20,000.00 or more when it is all said and done. Let’s help them reach that goal by visiting their website. There you can make a donation which will end up going to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
ThinkPinker.com commends the pair or bikers and hopes that their selfless act will inspire others to do more good when it comes to fighting breast cancer. A breast cancer cure will not find itself. For that we need love, support, and money to win the battle. While we cannot all take the time to bike cross country, there is something that everyone can do to make breast cancer a thing of the past and every little bit helps.
