Mugs for Jugs is back
For the second year in a row the guys and the gals that work at the Front Street Brewery in Wilmington, North Carolina will host the ‘Mugs for Jugs’ fundraising event in an effort to raise money to go towards helping breast cancer patients. On January 23rd of this year the bar staff at the Front Street Brewery, who will all be featuring lots of PINK, will be donating all of their tips to charity.
The charity that will directly benefit will be The Pink Ribbon Project and New Hanover Regional Medical Center’s Coastal Care Van. The proceeds will go to helping those who have recently received an unwanted breast cancer diagnosis and that don’t otherwise have the funds to get breast cancer treatment or follow up mammograms.
In addition to the bartender’s generosity at 11:30 am there will be 12 oz. ‘Mugs for Jugs’ mugs that will go on sale for $9.99 and there will also be a silent auction in order to raise even more funds. The event will feature a live band an there will plenty of food, fun, and prizes for all.
ThinkPinker.com hopes that all in the area will attend and buy a mug or two. These kinds of events are some of the most successful because they mix such a casual and fun time with such a dreaded disease that we must all fight to eradicate.
