Green tea and sweat can beat the breast cancer blues

Depression is one of the worst things that a breast cancer patient can go through. Now there is new evidence that suggests that exercise along with daily consumption of green tea can lessen the breast cancer blues and help breast cancer survivors be better able to get on with their lives.

The study, which saw its findings releases in the January 4th edition of the online report The Journal of Oncology, examined 1,399 women and various depression related factors in the women who were 54 years old on average and had received breast cancer treatment. The study went from 2002 to 2009 and the findings were very interesting.

According to the researchers, women who exercised on a regular interval were 20 percent less likely to be either mildly or clinically depressed. Green tea seemed to help as well with the fact that 183 of the total participant regularly drank g green tea and over 90 percent of them were less inclined to fall victim to depression.

While there have been independent studies of both exercise and green tea, this is the first time that the two have been studied in tandem. ThinkPinker.com is excited to see two wonderful things come together in order to make life easier for those struggling with this dreaded disease; even if it only makes life just a bit easier.
