Brides help fight breast cancer
Brides Against Breast Cancer Nationwide Tour of Gowns sells donated wedding gowns and gives the money to charity. Last week they stopped by Raleigh, North Carolina and raised some much needed funds for the Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation which tries to fulfill the last wishes of those with stage IV breast cancer.
The organization gets its inventory of wedding gowns from retailers and designers who donate the gowns which are then sold at a discounted price. This represents a wonderful deal for brides to be and also some final wishes granted for those who have gone through a terrible ordeal with breast cancer.
The stop at Raleigh raised $27,000 and the next stop on the tour is planned to be Charlotte, North Carolina. ThinkPinker.com hopes that all brides to be who are still in need of a beautiful wedding gown will try to make it out to the event. Doing so will mean a great gown for your special day and a special wish granted for someone deserving.
Sometimes a simple wish being granted can make all the difference in the world. Until there is one day a breast cancer cure, we must help each other and do all we can to ensure that those in need get what they deserve. Keep on hoping, loving, and thinking pink!
