Favre not with Green Bay but still gives to breast cancer causes in WI
When Brett Favre left the Green Bay Packers two years ago some people in Wisconsin were upset. When he signed last year with the Packer’s arch rivals, the Minnesota Vikings, everyone in Wisconsin was furious. But love him or hate him he is still doing a lot for breast cancer and those who are affected by the disease in Wisconsin.
In fact the Favre 4 Hope Foundation just recently gave $100,000.00 to the Ribbon of Hope Foundation which fights breast cancer. Why is that significant? They gave it to the Wisconsin chapter. So even though Favre may be lighting up the Packers when his Vikings play against them he is still helping the state of Wisconsin fight breast cancer and other diseases with his charity. And in the end isn’t that more important than football?
ThinkPinker.com Reminds both Packers and Vikings fans that when it comes to fighting breast cancer the only color that matters is PINK. So the next time you see Brett Favre on the football field don’t be bitter but be happy that there are men like him that take what they have and give it so that others may stand a better chance at beating breast cancer. Way to go Brett!
