Harley riders rev up for breast cancer
People that ride Harley Davidson motorcycles sometimes have the reputation of being rough and gruff, but this was certainly not the case in New Port Ritchey, Florida over the weekend. This past weekend saw the first annual Motorcycle Miles for Moffitt Poker Run.
Almost 500 bikers mounted their Harleys and took off to ride all over the Bay Area. They were riding for a breast cancer cure and their ride saw them take various stops all along the way including at the actual Moffitt, which is located in Tampa.
The ride was planned to help to raise breast cancer awareness and funds to further breast cancer research as well as honor those who had lost their personal battle with breast cancer. The run ended with a fun poker game had by all with many prizes given out including for the best and the worst hand of the day. What a fun way to raise some breast cancer awareness.
Once again some of the toughest looking people in America come together for a great cause and prove to be some very big teddy bears. ThinkPinker.com wants to pose the question; if these guys and gals can lend some support and hope then why can’t we all? We can beat breast cancer and if we all work together, we can and will find a breast cancer cure.
