Troy Lee teams with Save A Breast for breast cancer auction
Anyone who is into watching AMA Supercross motorcycle racing will now who Troy Lee is. If you don’t, he is the artist who designs the cool helmets that half the guys are sporting as they fly around the race track. Now Troy Lee Designs and Keep A Breast have teamed up for a unique way to raise breast cancer awareness and breast cancer funds.
Two casts have been made, one each, of Supercross announcers Erin Bates and Ashley Phillips and are being auctioned off for breast cancer charities. Each cast is a one of a kind that features art from Troy Lee and his top artists. Each cast is signed by Lee and the artist responsible for the design and are a must have for any true Supercross fan. The casts will come with pictures of the announcers and a special stand for display purposes.
The auctions end this Thursday at noon (EST) so if you haven’t bid yet there is still time. ThinkPinker.com thinks the idea is very unique and hopes that others will come up with inventive ways such as this to help in the ultimate goal of one day finding a breast cancer cure.
