If you live in or near Abington Pennsylvania and you are over 40 years old then listen up! Abington Memorial Hospital is offering free breast cancer screenings to certain women next month on April 21^st.

The requirements to receive your free screening is that you have not had a mammogram in the last 12 months, are either under or uninsured, and you are over 40 years old. What a great gift to give; the gift of life.

ThinkPinker.com urges all women that fit the requirements to attend this special free screening next month. The screenings are being conducted by appointment only so if you want to take advantage of the hospital’s generosity you have to register by calling Cynthia Echewa at 215-481-2586 or Young Hee So at 215-481-6864.

Please don’t wait until it is too late because breast cancer won’t wait. Fight the fight and stay educated. Above all else get your mammograms in order to detect problems early. Any breast cancer survivor who caught the disease early will tell you that mammograms are vital so please get yours if you are in the Abington area and you meet the requirements. While breast cancer is winning some of the battles with us, it will not win the war.
