The stages of breast cancer range from 0 to 4 and the stage level is based on tumor or tumors size, whether or not the lymph nodes are involved, whether the cancer is invasive or non-invasive, and whether the cancer has spread beyond the breast.
The main reason that breast cancer is categorized into different stages is to help to organize the various factors and some stage personality features of the cancer. This helps to:

· Give a common language as to the severity of breast cancer that all health professionals can understand.
