New study finds lifestyle not linked to genes with breast cancer
According to a new study, while there are genes that increase the risk of breast cancer in women and there are lifestyle factors that do as well, the two are not linked. This new study is in contradiction of what many past studies have put out for results.
The study, which British researchers conducted, followed 7,610 women who were breast cancer patients and 10,196 who were not. All the women provided a blood sample and the study then began.
In the end what was found was that although both lifestyle and genetic mutations contribute to breast cancer, they did not do so in a combined or mixed effort. Statistical analysis was used to come to the conclusions drawn by the study.
ThinkPiner.com wants to take this opportunity to remind everyone that we must all be giving what we can to worthy organization that will use the donated funds to conduct further breast cancer research such as the study conducted here. Without the funds needed in order to carry out these important studies, we will continue to stay a step behind in the ultimate goal of finding a breast cancer cure.
As breast cancer continues to take our loved ones from us, we need to continue the fight. Together we are strong and with love, hope, and action we cannot be stopped.
