Growing trend - breast cancer fraud
It seems every time you turn around there is another person being prosecuted for breast cancer fraud. What the heck is the matter with these people? I have posted several stories about these despicable people, but it seems that every time I finish one post, another similar story crops up. This needs to come to an end.
What happens is usually the same old story. A woman will say that she has breast cancer, gain the sympathy of friends and family and then collect thousands of dollars that are meant to go towards breast cancer treatment. I guess these people don’t believe in Karma.
So what can you do about breast cancer fraud? For starters if you know of any shady dealings going on with someone who is pretending to have breast cancer, don’t stand idly by. Instead go to your local authorities and report the person in question and the rest will take care of itself. You can even make an anonymous report if you so desire.
ThinkPinker.com wants everyone to remain on the lookout for these lower than low life people. While it is always sad to see someone who is truly afflicted with this deadly disease, it is sickening to see someone pretend.
