Coffee and breast cancer
It is a debate that has been raging for some time now and there seems to be no end in sight. Coffee and breast cancer have always seemed to be linked and while some researchers say that coffee fights breast cancer, others say it promotes breast cancer.
Now there is new research out that suggests both scenarios. According to the new research, women who drink coffee in the earlier parts of their lives (49 and under) actually increase their chances of getting breast cancer, but those who drink it in the later stages of life (50 and older) actually diminish their chances.
This is a new and certainly interesting way to look at how coffee effects women in regards to breast cancer. The researchers that conducted this study do acknowledge that there is further testing that needs to be conducted, but they say they are astounded and pleased with their results as well.
ThinkPinker.com hopes that more research will be done so that we can one day know with certainty if coffee and breast cancer are a true couple or not. In the mean time, drink your coffee in moderation and as always, be sure to see your doctor every year for your mammogram.
