FaceBook faker (of breast cancer) now in police custody
Ashley Anne Kirilow must not read all of the ThinkPinker.com blogs that I write about those who fake a breast cancer diagnosis. When you fake it…you end up getting caught and put in jail!
This 23 year old recently duped over 5,000 of her FaceBook friends into giving her money for her fake charity “Change” for a Cure. What she got was change to the tune of almost $20,000. She also received much attention, a trip to Disney, and spending money. When it was all said and done, her father turned her in.
Why such a young and bright girl would shave her hair and wax her eyebrows jut to fake a breast cancer diagnosis is beyond the scope of logic. What is known is that she says it was because she felt alone.
Now she faces jail time and ThinkPinker.comhopes that the judge will be swift and fair. We also want to remind you that you can always give to a notable charity such as Susan G. Komen for the Cure and know that your funds will go where they are supposed to. We mustn’t let these fakes deter us from giving all we can so that we can one day find that ever elusive breast cancer cure.
