Breast cancer to surpass cervical cancer in India
In India, the most reported cancer among women is cervical cancer. Now according to experts, this will not be the case before too much longer. Many experts now agree that by the year 2020, breast cancer will take over the number one spot and claim the ominous title of being the most reported cancer in the middle-eastern country.
The figures that support these calims come form projections and trends that the Indian Government has been collection for years now. While the shift in cancer types at number one may not be all that alarming to those stateside, to the women of India, this is a big deal.
This is why it is so important that we all do our part to spread as much breast cancer awareness as we can so that women on every square inch of the Earth can know of the dangers of this disease and what they can do to help prevent them. ThinkPinker.com hopes that everyone who reads this post will think of different ways in which to spread the breast cancer news.
