Sheryl Crow is a proud breast cancer survivor and she is now doing her part to ensure that many other women have the same destiny. Today in Los Angeles, Sheryl Crow officially oped up her breast cancer center.

The Sheryl Crow Imaging Center in Los Angeles, is “a state of the art breast imaging center featuring the latest advancements in digital screening and diagnostic imaging technologies,” according to a press release that was given by Crow’s people.

The center is housed inside the Pink Lotus Breast Center. That particular center is dedicated to breast cancer screenings and breast cancer treatments of all types. Dr. Kristi Funk is the surgeon who founded the Lotus Center and she also happens to be the surgeon who found and treated the lump in Sheryl Crow back in 2006. Together the two should make for one potent breast cancer fighting team.

ThinkPinker.comis always thrilled to see a star who was affected by this terrible disease fight for their own survival and then fight for other’s as well. Sheryl Crow should be commended for her contribution to the cause and she should also be a shining example of how we have to educate, fight, and eventually with the battle with breast cancer. Way to go Sheryl!
