Why is breast cancer awareness important?
Whenever I write a post about money being raised for breast cancer, one of the main reasons the money is being raised is to further breast cancer awareness. So why is that breast cancer awareness is so important?
Here’s the thing; without breast cancer awareness, nobody would be asking questions. Take the color PINK for example. Simply by wearing an abundance of the color, people may ask you why you are doing so. This then gives your the opportunity to tell them that it is for breast cancer and why. Maybe the person you are speaking with will learn something new about breast cancer that they never before knew.
So by spreading breast cancer awareness, we are spreading knowledge. Only when every woman on the planet is aware of the dangers of breast cancer and the precautions to take in order to avoid the terrible disease will our quest for spreading good old fashioned breast cancer awareness be complete.
ThinkPinker.com reminds everyone reading this post that breast cancer awareness is ALL OUR responsibilities. While we may not have a loud voice on our own, together we can shout as loud as the highest decibel in the world. Until there is a breast cancer cure…FIGHT!
