Yoplait and Susan G. Komen for the Cure have already teamed up to save countless lives and have already helped so many who have been affected by breast cancer and now the two companies have extended their commitments to one another. Yoplait, which has already helped Susan G. Komen for the Cure raise much needed funds for breast cancer research, has announced that they will up their minimum contribution this year to $1.6 million.

This is all part of their “Save Lids to Save Lives,” campaign and for each lid that is returned to the company, they donate ten cents. Its an easy and effective way to get consumers to participate and it also extends their overall commitment to Komen and the breast cancer fight to 12 years.

ThinPinker.com hopes that everyone will take part in this life saving effort and hopes that more large companies like Yoplait will come up with more ways in which donations can be made. Remember, we must all work and fight together in order to one day have what this world needs, a breast cancer cure.
